The Guernsey Breathe Easy Support Group
| If you suffer from a lung condition or a friend or member of your family does, you may be interested to know that the Guernsey Breathe Easy Support Group is here for people like you. The Breathe Easy Club is the voluntary support group network of the British Lung Foundation (BLF). Breathe Easy offers those affected by lung disease the opportunity to spend time with others who are having similar experiences. Breathe Easy provides a really good opportunity for those affected by lung disease to get together and feel that they are not alone. Lung disease can be horribly debilitating and Breathe Easy is a ‘hands-on’ approach in aiming to alleviate some of the problems which can be generated by the 40 lung conditions affecting people here today. Breathe Easy Groups find themselves able to find out more about issues relating to them, while enjoying various social activities and a local, friendly environment where participants know and understand the difficulties associated with living with a lung condition. The Guernsey group meets every month (3rd Wednesday of every month, 11.00 – 12.00, Salvation Army Hall, L’Islet Fortress Hall, Rte de Picquerel.) This website is for people who are unable to attend the group but want to get in touch with others in the same situation. |
